And where in!

A full 10 days early and we are in…

Today we completed our inspection of the remaining issues and they are mostly completed… After what seems like a long journey we finally have the keys what an awesome feeling…!

Yeah, the house ain’t “perfect”, I dont think any build would be, we are over the moon with the quality of finishes and workmanship…

From the start, building with Wisdom Homes at Stonecutters Ridge has been excellent, and moving in is the next big hurdle… As for the house, there are still lots of things to be done, from internal finishes to landscaping, we see these happening over time. Our plan is to enjoy the moment and carefully plan our next steps!!

Walk through done!

The official walk through is now complete and we have practical completion next week… There were lots of cosmetic things found throughout the home however, these will be corrected before we settle next week…

We are very please with how the house is turning out, with the drive way completed its really feeling like a home…

Making progress with Wisdom Homes thanks Joe!

Its been a while since I posted but we are making huge progress at the moment, over the past few months our build is really moving towards completion… quickly…

Its so great building with Wisdom Homes, our site supervisor Joe Cosentino is just fantastic, throughout the built I have spoken to him many times, although after the first few calls we felt relaxed enough to let him just get the job done, so we havent pushed hin at all, there was really no need…

Although we are somewhat stressed about moving we are so eager to move into a beautiful new home and nervous about what problems we might find during our walk through this Friday…

Anyway, onto the work completed so far, well I am happy to say the following is done and dusted

  1. Render, Armed completed the work some time ago, and did a fantastic job, although I may need to get him back once for some small patch work where required.
  2. Timpelle Kitchens have installed the gallery kitchen, we are very happy with the look, Cesar Stone bench tops, aluminium finishes, soft closed draws and island bench.
  3. Decoglaze have installed the glass splash-back and we are so happy with the look, sleek and easy to clean… We chose a latte colour to match the floor tiles.
  4. Di-lorenzo have installed the floor tiles and the bathrooms are finished, photos to come.
  5. Timpelle Kitchens have installed the Mushroom linear vanity units to the ensuite and main bathrooms…
  6. Shows screens, polished edge mirrors, luxury toilets were installed this week, which is great so no tradies use them instead of the portaloo outside!!
  7. Driveway and cross-over formwork was completed yesterday 6 June we added a pathway to the portico and double cross-over to suit the concrete.

Sure there are some things I have missed which Wisdom homes have completed, but at this point its what I have noticed… Our walk through is this friday so we are looking to move in soon, a week or so we are hoping…

All locked up!

We are all locked up! That is, the Garage and all other doors are on…

Looking through the windows and noticed things are really coming together, the wet areas are now sealed and ready for the tiles to be installed…

Walls are on!

We have walls! And its all happening so quickly!

No picture for this post, dropped my iphone :( New one is one the way, thank God I am going through withdrawals…

So whats done so far? Well, the Sound proofing for the HT and ceiling was done it was only a matter of days… Super quick work there, and the walls and wet areas are next!

We are so pleased with the outcome of the ensuite, and laundy… After moving a few walls around to make it bigger, it was a relief to see the walls go on and the spaces show themselves..

After seeing empty walls for so long, I must admit it was very hard to judge how the house was turning out…
